Katahdin Cruises begin June 28th. Enjoy the natural beauty and history of Moosehead Lake aboard a 1914 steamboat. Some Special Cruises this year include Bike & Boat Cruise June 25th, Fireworks Cruise July 4th, Rock & Roll Cruises July 15- Full Moon, July 17th, August 4 & August 13 -Full Moon, and Head of the Lake Cruise September 24th. An annual event of Moosemainea. The area crafters will have their annual craft fair in downtown Greenville. Lots of moose memorabilia and collectables. The fair takes place in the Katahdin Steamboat parking area in downtown Greenville. Along with the Craft Fair is the Moosemainea Kid's Fun Day with plenty of events and kids games .

The Moosehead Lake Region comes alive with the areas celebration of Independence Day. We have a fun day planned with games, a craft fair and food vendors in Greenville. International Sea Plane Fly-In
The Fly-In occurs the weekend after Labor Day. The weekend consists of Float Plane competitions, educational exhibits, the Moosehead Lake Region's largest craft fair, lots of food and much more. Land and float plane pilots from all over the country and world fly to our waters to enjoy this yearly tradition at Moosehead
